Work and Income Calculators
A job offer is more than its headline salary. Benefits, commute, unpaid time, and cost of living can easily swing the real value of two offers past each other, and most comparisons never account for them.

Job offer comparison
Compare two job offers on total value — salary, bonus, equity, benefits, commuting cost, hours, and cost of living — not just the headline salary.
$1,204.73typical · per year, after benefits, commuting
Exact figure. This calculator has no modeled range — the number follows directly from your inputs.

The hourly number, and the whole package
An hourly rate and a salary are only comparable once unpaid time is accounted for, and neither is comparable to an offer until benefits, employer contributions, and time off are priced in.

- Hourly to salaryConvert an hourly wage into annual, monthly, and weekly pay, accounting for real hours, unpaid weeks, overtime, and bonuses.
- Overtime payWork out gross pay for a week with overtime, at any threshold and multiplier, including how shift differentials and bonuses change the regular rate.
- Work from homeWork out what remote work actually saves — commute fuel, vehicle wear, parking, food, and clothing — net of the extra cost of being home.
How these estimates are built
Wage and hours data comes from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Where a calculation depends on tax, it is stated as a rate you can set rather than a figure we assert, because filing status and state make a single national answer meaningless.
Where no public agency publishes what a calculation needs, we say so plainly and label the figure as an assumption rather than dressing it up as sourced. Every result shows its own provenance, and our full method is documented.
